EduKit Initiative
The EduKit Initiative is a comprehensive educational project designed to empowerstudents from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Powai, Mumbai.
The initiative seeks to provide customized study kits to 820 students attending schools run by Educational Trust where only textbook is provided. These study kits, tailored to the age and academic requirements of primary and secondary school students, will include items such as notebooks, geometry kits, school bags, and raincoats.
This initiative is deeply rooted in the understanding that education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty.
Objectives
The primary objectives of the EduKit Initiative are:
1. To provide customized study kits to 820 students from schools run by Educational
Trust where only textbook is provided in Powai, Mumbai.
2. To alleviate the financial burden on families by covering the costs of essential
educational supplies.
3. To improve school attendance by equipping students with the tools needed to
participate in class confidently.
4. To enhance academic performance through access to high-quality study materials.
5. To promote gender equity by ensuring equal distribution of resources to boys and
girls.
